Spatialomics Interest Group Meeting (11/29)
UMN Researcher Spatialomic Presentation
Title: RHAMM-associated immune infiltration in breast cancer tumor microenvironment revealed by GeoMx DSP & MIBI
Presenter: Yuyu He - Researcher, Nelson lab, Lab Med and Pathology
Overview: Expression of Hyaluronan mediated motility receptor (HMMR, aka RHAMM) shows large heterogeneity among breast cancer patients and is upregulated in aggressive cases. We are interested in understanding the role of RHAMM in regulating the immune response of breast cancer. We applied spatial omics technologies, including GeoMx digital spatial profiling (DSP) and multiplexed ion beam imaging (MIBI), to characterize the immune infiltration in 5 breast cancer human sections.
