The Illumina MiSeq is a benchtop sequencer specialized for quick, lower-output runs on single-lane flow cells, and with the version 3 cluster chemistry, it offers Illumina’s longest read length - the 300-bp paired-end run.
Optimized for projects requiring 1–16 million reads per run, the MiSeq offers a lower-throughput alternative to the NextSeq P1 flow cell, which generates 100 million reads per run. Its single-lane design enables fast sequencing turnaround times, particularly when paired with our Speed or Priority service tiers.
