Flexomics Webinar: Linking Live-Cell Function with Single-Cell Molecular Profiles
Single-cell sequencing provides a powerful view of cellular identity and molecular state, but many biologically important phenotypes, such as signaling responses, cytokine secretion, cytotoxicity, cell-cell interactions, and dynamic responses to perturbations, are difficult to reconstruct from endpoint molecular measurements alone.
Flexomics has developed FLEX, a multimodal single-cell platform designed to connect what individual live cells do with the molecular state of those same cells. FLEX combines live-cell culture and co-culture, functional assays, and imaging-based phenotyping with downstream single-cell RNA sequencing, while preserving cell identity across measurements.
In this webinar, Flexomics will introduce the FLEX technology and workflow, including how standard cellular assays and fluorescence imaging can be integrated with downstream molecular profiling without requiring dedicated instrumentation. They will present examples spanning functional immune profiling and TCR sequencing, heterogeneous cellular responses to perturbations, live-cell signaling/reporter assays, and patient-derived sample profiling, illustrating how functional phenotypes can be linked directly to molecular information from the same individual cells.
Flexomics will also discuss practical considerations for designing experiments with FLEX, how researchers can bring their own cellular assays to the platform, and opportunities for collaborative and early-access studies.
Agenda:
- Introducing FLEX: connecting live-cell phenotyping with single-cell molecular profiling
- How FLEX works: cell culture and co-culture, functional assays, imaging, molecular profiling, and same-cell data integration
- Application examples: functional immune profiling and TCR sequencing, heterogeneous cellular responses to perturbations, live-cell signaling/reporter assays, and patient-derived sample profiling
- Designing experiments with FLEX: assay compatibility, experimental considerations, and opportunities for collaborative studies
