Lunch and Learn: Exploring Bio-Rad ddPCR Applications and Technology

Understand the strengths of ddPCR and how it compares with qPCR

Droplet digital PCR (ddPCR) is becoming an increasingly common tool in molecular biology, providing highly sensitive, absolute quantification of nucleic acids without standard curves. By partitioning samples into thousands of individual droplets and using fluorescence-based detection, ddPCR enables precise target quantification. Understanding how the technology works can help researchers get the most from ddPCR across a range of applications.

In this Lunch and Learn, Bio-Rad will introduce droplet digital PCR, including the technology's strengths and when to choose ddPCR versus qPCR for specific workflows. The presentation will also provide an overview of Bio-Rad’s QX ddPCR systems and how these technologies can support genomic research.
