Lunch and Learn: Introducing 10x Genomics Flex Apex
Enabling Single Cell at Low Cost, Unparalleled Scale, and Ultimate Flexibility
Single-cell studies increasingly require the ability to analyze larger numbers of samples, accommodate diverse sample types, and scale experiments while maintaining data quality and controlling costs. In this Lunch and Learn, 10x Genomics will introduce Chromium Flex Apex and discuss how the technology expands the scale and flexibility of single-cell gene expression studies.
The seminar will cover the use of Flex Apex with fresh, frozen, and fixed samples, including FFPE, across human, mouse, and rat tissues. Attendees will learn how fixation and sample batching can provide greater flexibility in experimental design and scheduling while preserving sample quality for downstream analysis.
The presentation will also highlight approaches for scaling single-cell studies, including a plate-based workflow designed to multiplex up to 100 million cells or 384 samples per week, along with lower sample input recommendations and sample recovery of up to 80%. Applications will include biomarker discovery, perturbation screening, translational research, and other large-scale single-cell studies.
